FOR LEAGUE OPERATORS
The whole season,
running on one platform.
Multiple divisions, venues that change weekly, a single referee per match, team fees paid by bank transfer. YuzuSports is built for the reality of grassroots league operations. From taking registrations to publishing standings to confirming payments, with zero double entry.
Today: registration form → spreadsheet → re-typing → hand-editing the website → checking the bank for payments
Are you entering the same data three or four times? That workflow hasn't changed in twenty years. It can end this season.
A season, step by step
-
STEP 1
Take registrations
Accept team registrations, tournament entries, and player registrations through forms. Already running on Google Forms or Sheets? Sync them two-way and they become the master database. Player cards with headshot and ID photo are supported, and approval status is written back automatically.
-
STEP 2
Build and publish the schedule
A different venue every week. Bookings confirmed only one to three months out. The number of pitches changing with each lottery. That is fine. Register the slots you have secured, and the platform builds a balanced schedule and lets you publish confirmed weeks first.
-
STEP 3
Match day, finished on a phone
Each team’s representative submits attendance and the team sheet (goals, cautions, dismissals). The referee just confirms and approves. Reports from both teams and the referee are reconciled automatically, and any discrepancy is flagged to the operator. No more paper. No more Excel.
-
STEP 4
Standings update themselves
The moment a result is approved, standings and scorer tables are recalculated. Embed a widget in your existing website and the job of hand-updating the site simply disappears.
-
STEP 5
Invoice, then confirm payment
Issue entry and match fees as invoices per team. When a team books a pitch on the league’s behalf, they can file a deduction claim that runs through an approval flow. Payments are tracked in one list, and reminders and late fees for unpaid teams can be set as rules.
Frequently asked questions
Does every player need to install the app? +
No. You can start with just two or three representatives per team (captain, manager). Schedules are also available on a public web page with no login and via Google and Apple calendar sync. Players who do install the app receive schedule changes as push notifications. Adoption is optional, but anyone who installs it never misses a change.
We want teams to keep paying by bank transfer. +
Keep it. What goes away is not the transfer but the reconciliation. Invoicing, matching incoming payments, and tracking who has not paid all happen in one screen. For teams that want it, other methods such as card payment can be offered as an option, with configurable handling of fees.
What happens to the spreadsheets we already have? +
You keep using them. Existing Google Forms and Sheets sync two-way with the platform, so there is no need to migrate everything at once. Rollouts typically follow the season: registration, then fixtures, then match day, then billing.
Can it manage referees? +
Yes. A referee database, assignment to matches, and per-match fee tracking are all covered. Assignment notices and availability confirmation can run semi-automatically inside the app.
Start by telling us how you run things today.
Bring your spreadsheets exactly as they are. We'll walk through your operating flow and show you where the platform can take over first.
